American scientists were able to cure the blindness in a group of 37 people who suffered from this hereditary condition. The most amazing thing about the study is that they gave an injection in only one eye. Then the other replicated genetics in order to correct the condition. Daily Mail review that the study was conducted by scientists from the University of Pittsburgh.
